Fire safety is critical in BC's wildfire-prone landscape. Here's how to protect your cabin and family.

- No firewood storage
- Remove dead vegetation

**Priority Zone 2 (10-30m)**:
- Reduce vegetation density
- Prune trees (2m clearance ground to branches)
- Space trees appropriately
- Remove ladder fuels
- Fire-resistant plants

**Priority Zone 3 (30-100m)**:
- Thin forest if possible
- Create fuel breaks
- Remove dead trees
- Maintain spacing between trees

### Fire-Resistant Construction Features

**Roofing** (Most Critical):
- Class A fire-rated roofing (metal, asphalt)
